Terms and Conditions > Code of Conduct

  1. Abide by all policies determined by the STPA Committee.
  2. Play for the fun and enjoyment of sport, not just to please others. (eg: Your parents and coaches).
  3. Abide by the rules and the spirit of the sport be a good sport. Acknowledge good plays, by your team and also by your opponents.
  4. Never talk back or argue with officials or referees decisions. Let your captain or coach ask any necessary questions.
  5. Control your temper, no mouthing off, swearing, foul, abusive or derogatory language which includes comments or actions.

  7. Treat all players, as you yourself would like to be treated. Do not interfere with bully or take unfair advantage of any player on the basis of his/her religion,sexual orientation, disability, race, colour, national or ethnic origins.
  8. Remember the goals of the game are to have fun, improve your skills feel good and enjoy your self.
  9. Cooperate with your coach, team mates, opponents and committee members.
  10. Work towards achieving your full potential in Touch and help others achieve theirs.
  11. Inform your coach and the SPTA Committee of any personal injury or medical conditions.
  12. Behave and dress in a dignified manner when representing SPTA, both on and off the field.
  13. Acknowledge the SPTA, other Touch Organisations and it sponsors as opportunities arise.
  14. Comply with SPTA and QLD Spots Council Anti-Doping Policy.
  15. Neither posses nor use prohibited, nor participate in or condone any other practice prohibited by SPTA Committee.
  16. Intentional physical contact is not permitted by the Laws of the game, nor fighting with a player, game referee, spectator or Southpine Touch Official.
  17. Excessively hard touches or overly aggressive game play.
  18. Any action deemed,in the ultimate discretion of the game Referee or Southpine Committee Members, to bring the game into disrepute.
