Southpine Touch Football is a family friendly oriented touch football association that runs at Eatons Hill in North Brisbane. We are a not-for-profit organisation and try to run as one of the cheapest touch football competitions in Brisbane. Games are played at the Southpine Sports Complex.
Southpine Touch conducts two touch competitions per season:
- Winter Competition which runs from late January to June.
- Summer Competition that runs from early July to early December.
Each competition runs for 18 rounds plus 4 rounds for finals. That is 22 weeks per season of the year. We play a 5 team Semi Final round.
Monday Night Competition
MONDAY nights is a mixed competition only and games start at the following times: 6:30, 7:15, 8:00 and 8:45pm. All games are a standard two by twenty minute half with a three minute half time break. Teams must have a minimum of two ladies on the field for the duration of the game. You must be thirteen (13) or older to play touch football at Southpine. This is a requirement of our insurance cover.
Monday Night Mixed Southpine run four grades in the competition:
A GRADE: six-a-side competitive competition.
B GRADE: six-a-side competitive competition.
C GRADE: seven-a-side social competition.
D GRADE: seven-a-side social / learner competition.
Thursday Night Competition
THURSDAY nights is Mens and Ladies six-a-side competition and games start at the following times: 6:45, 7:45 and 8:45pm. All games are two by twenty five minute half with five minute half time break.
Fees
Team Fees are normally $800 per Team for the 22 week season with a $50 discount for early payment.
